"The AC was messed regardless of two technicians’ visit. The temperature would not go below 25C even though it was set to 20C for over 24hrs. The shower can use some deep cleaning. The edges seal are black with dirt and black mold ( always the case on all of my visits) The pools are dirty. They all have very large decay ( tiles that came off). The grouts are disgustingly moldy. "This is a well run hotel with manicured grounds, nicely decorated rooms and facilities, clean pool and beautiful beach. My only complaint is that the rooms have limited windows and are dark - when one stays at a beach resort, one wants to let the sun in and see the beach or the garden area. There should be floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors. Meaning to wake up with a nice view or not have to go outside into the heat to get a view is what one expects at a beach resort. "Staff are friendly and helpful, Samba in particular. Access to a private beach was something we appreciated as it's not often the case in Dakar. Two pools, spacious room with balcony, excellent bedding."

"Our stay was nice overall, though we had some maintenance issues in the room which were quickly addressed, except for the old and visibly dirty AC unit in the room and the flimsy door lock solution which are not acceptable at this price point. The grounds were clean; the pool was well maintained; the buffet was excellent. However, the entire hotel wifi was down during our entire stay due to a "network upgrade" which is also unacceptable for any half decent hotel."

"The front desk lady Anissa was absolutely amazing from the moment we walked in!! Unfortunately for room service, they got our orders wrong. And we had to ask twice for bath towels that we only recieved 2days after. Other than that,i stayed in their most dulux room. The television in the living room and bedroom is so small and outdated, I would expext for the price they ask and for how modern the hotel is, they would atleast have decent 75inc smart tv's or something."

"The hotel exterior was old, there were dead bugs all over the.place, the WiFi didn't work everywhere, no hot water in the morning, my bathroom (Rm 652) floods if you turn on the shower for more than 2 minutes, the in-room intercom did not work. Imaging paying $268 for a hotel room for one night, you get asked to pay for breakfast on checknout and the breakfast spread was nothing to be excited about for extra $25 The only upside about the hotel are the staff who seemed friendly and handicapped...
