"A charming character Victorian hotel with excellent restaurant, and adjacent accommodation. We only stopped one night but will be back. We were made welcome from start to finish by all staff. The bar is full of history, and food in the heritage restaurant was superb and a credit to the chef."

"The resort definitely needs some TLC, since it's been up for sale needed updates and repairs are just not happening. Having said that the place is comfortable and clean and the staff are fantastic. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant is now only open on Friday and Saturday nights but understandable considering how quiet the place is through the week. The upside is that there's almost no one there mid week so you almost have the place to yourself. The nearby pub and cafe/Indian...

"Non avevano la nostra prenotazione al check in. La reception chiude alle 18, non so come si possa fare check in dopo ... Niente wifi Biscotti , the, caffè e cioccolata gratuita nell'area comune. Camera spaziosa e ragazza al bar molto gentile. Ma in generale non lo consiglio."

"Un lodge merveilleux pour terminer notre roadtrip australien. Nous avons pu profiter une dernière fois du chant des oiseaux et des visites fréquentes des wallabies. Le logement est spacieux, propre et confortable. L’endroit est calme et bien situé. L’hôte est très gentil."

"Enjoyed that I could come and go without any need to interact with anyone. Sort of like having my own personal home/mansion. Beautiful location and grounds. If I had time for a longer stay, I would have had more time to enjoy the building and its grounds. Checkout was a simple as leaving the key and locking the front door. Hope to be back again one day!! "Such a relaxing stay in these very private, very large motel-room like 1/2 cabins that have their own carport and covered outside sitting area. Loved looking out over the green grassy slope and seeing kangaroos morning and late afternoon. A very quiet and peaceful place. Bonus having an amazing restaurant here too."

"Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. "
