"Last year I got food poisoning which cost me a days skiing and a very uncomfortable night with bouts of vomiting. Thinking it would be a one off we booked again due mainly to the fantastic location. This year we were two couples and all four of us got sick to varying degrees with three of us unable to ski for a day. "Hôtel et spa très bien. Seule bémol nous n’avons pas pu nous endormir avant 3h du matin car un mariage avait lieu à côté de l’hôtel dans le casino et la musique était très forte jusqu’à 3h du matin. Dommage lorsque l’on veut passer un week-end relaxant…"

"The hotel itself is fine and the staff are excellent. But to describe the hotel as "ski-in/ski-out" is wholly misleading. The exit/entrance involved a dangerous traverse across about 100m of sheet ice. The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. That runs about every 90 minutes, so is basically useless. So don't stay here if you don't want to have to drive to the resort each day. Also, don't make the mistake of buying the full Paradiski...

"A 3 star hotel masquerading as a 4* one because it has a ‘spa’. Very tired in places especially around the spa area and corridors was in terrible condition. Being shown to your room through the underground car park wasn’t the best start. Paper cups in the rooms really cheap. Though the room was clean, and of nice decor, modern and a good view the bathroom was tired. The breakfast had a good selection of food, but the hot food was not so hot and was catering to the masses. The website is...

"Great find for our stay! Fantastic ski in ski out location. However the only reason we may not choose to come back is the ski shop is closed between 12 and 3. We found this very inconvenient. Even when we turned up at 11.40 they had locked up early. It’s not a boot room with lockers and is very basic, but serves its purpose. Otherwise perfect location for all amenities."

"Our room looked like it had been recently decorated and updated. It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was huge. The dining room has also had an overhaul. Breakfast was excellent. We ate dinner there a couple of nights, too, and I would recommend the steak. We were skiing in the 3 Valleys, so we rented a ski locker at Chaudanne for convenience and took the bubble up each day. Really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come again."
