"We had the superior 3rd floor seaview room which was lovely and had fantastic views. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size as was the lounge area. The breakfast menu was excellent and everything was cooked to order. There was also a selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and pastries plus toast. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. There is a bar, which is open in the evening until 10pm. The only downside is that there is no lift, which wasn't a problem for us but if you struggle to go upstairs then you might find it difficult depending on which floor you are on. The property is in walking distance of the electric tram. There are plenty of restaurants nearby."

"The lift was not working, but staff carried heavy bags to the room. No kettle or drink making facilities in the room. Beds were comfortable and roombwas warm and clean."

"We visited for a long weekend, the hotel was serviceable but could do with renovation to make it a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was very good and location on the front is nice. However if you’re staying on the weekend, get a sea view room, otherwise you will be kept awake by the extremely loud music and antics from the Wetherspoons beside the hotel."
