"Good:
Excellent vacation spot, literally right on the ocean. The hotel provides and sets up everything you need for a day on their private beach - chairs, umbrellas, towels, tables etc. Food and drink service is available on the beach as well.
Beach staff was very friendly and responsive, and didn't expect tips (for non-food services).
Hotel is cashless - everything is charged to your room.
Room has a kitchen with plates, utensils etc.
Parking is included and plentiful.

"For the area, the hotel was a good price and a good budget option. The walls are very thin and we heard our upstairs neighbors all night but it was a good central location. Parking wasn’t the greatest and we couldn’t park on site for one of the nights."

"Bedspreads had holes in them, and I ran out of toilet paper in 2 days--no other roll was provided. Clearly that wasn't checked when they came to clean the bathroom (though it was obviously running low when I check in). Staff was super duper nice though!"

"I only wish we could have stayed longer!
We stayed Memorial Day and didn’t bring one thing for the beach since they had everything there! My son said he “never had so much fun at the beach”. Being able to walk out to the beach with the only hurdle of the stairs down/up was perfect. The staff was absolutely nice and hopefully didn’t mind my son asking all my questions! (Yes, to the front desk every one was mine lol) I also definitely loved the Starbucks coffee 😂💜

"We’ve been staying here for years and it was reasonably priced and clean. Beach is half a block away and the parking is included in the price. We stayed here this week and it is no longer reasonable price wise and they were renovating the property so there was not ample parking and it was noisy because of renovations. The property is worn down so it needs renovation but our room was small and run down and not reasonably priced so I will be looking elsewhere when I visit relatives in San Diego."
