"Was advised that I would be met at airport and no one there until I called again and waited an extra 30 minutes. Unreliable! On arrival at the hotel, our room was not ready, when check in was expected by 3 pm. We did not get a room until 4:30 and at that point put us in a room in a lower level with lesser views. Room had hair in bathroom, master bed and patio. Nothing in room for anything exceedingly t towels and sheets. Could not leave fast enough. Best part was being introduced to a driver that was even surprised we had stayed here. This is off the beaten path and nothing within walking distance. Pictures were deceiving of what this place is and the condition. Front desk staff was less than helpful in communicating and anytime someone new came in they had to focus their attention there as there was only one person capable of checking in. Curio stands for curious why anyone would enjoy this place. Recommendation Look Elsewhere"

"this is the most spectacular but understated resort. Noreen and Christina took care of our every need. Food was excellent The view is worth a million and you can enjoy it from the room dining on the terrace or swimming in the pool "

"Great overall with amenities; gym, restaurants pool and beach areas, where you could swim!! (Great clearing the seaweed from the beach daily!!). More importantly the staff was excellent!! Would definitely go back for a relaxing vacation. "

"After booking a room with a kitchen online, I contacted the hotel to confirm and was told my reservation did not include one. After verifying that my original booking did list a kitchen, I went back and forth with the hotel but was still told none was available, so I canceled and rebooked a suite. Upon arrival, we explained the situation and were told it would be looked into, but never heard anything further. The “suite” itself was disappointing; two small beds in one room and a largely empty adjoining space with just a sofa. The patio had only two chairs, no table, and overlooked the pool bathrooms. Despite multiple requests, we were never provided a table for either the room or patio. At one point, we returned to find our room door propped open with no one inside, which was concerning. We reported it to the front desk and were told it would be investigated, but again received no follow-up. Another frustrating experience occurred when we bought ice cream for our kids. When one cone broke and started leaking, I asked for a cup and was told I’d have to pay extra. The front desk said no manager was available and that someone would follow up, but no one did. Overall, the stay fell far short of expectations. Staff were not particularly friendly and consistently failed to follow through on requests or concerns. Based on this experience, we would not return to this property."

"Clean rooms. Excellent staff and we had several very good meals. Good snorkeling on the beach. Good fro is and munchies. "

"The location was perfect. Close to the bus terminal ferry terminal and my dive boat. Plenty of eating options. Everything was a 5 to ten minute walk. The room was very nice. New tile on the floor and in the whole bathroom. Plenty of hot water. T v worked fine. I got to watch free movies on youtube channel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. He helped me do a load of laundry for free. There was a supermarket downstairs from the hotel. Perfect!"

"Amazing location. Right on the beach where you can swim or snorkel. Many beach bars within steps. The hotel restaurant was very good. Travelled from US - tip for others - bring small USD bills as you won’t always get change. "
