"This was our first time to stay in the "new" section of the Fort Young Hotel, and it was very nice. We enjoyed the coffee amenities in our room and the filtered water station out in our hallway. It was convenient to have an elevator, too. Our room was spacious and comfortable with AC and a ceiling fan.
We enjoyed ordering food from the bar, like the jerk chicken pizza, jerk chicken quesadilla, and fish tacos. For us, the bar menu had more options than the fine dining restaurant (Palisades). We discovered the bar menu when we enjoyed our complimentary welcome drinks!
We had a rental car, and the bellmen were always friendly and helpful when we needed a parking spot on the street nearby. (Note: One can still park down the hill near the waterfront, too.)"
