"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Villa Copthall! The service was exceptional! Many thanks to the great staff who took very good care of us. I will miss you all. I hope we can meet again! Additionally, the location was very serene. I loved the coziness of being tucked away between the mountains…yet, the hotel was not too far from the capital, and many attractions! My only note to mention was that we saw that breakfast was included in the price. When we checked in, we were told that part of the breakfast (fruit and a drink I believe) were complimentary. However, I was really impressed and grateful that the staff cooked meals to my liking, and even adjusted the menu on occasion. Overall… Great staff! Great food! Great service! Great location!!!"

"Great place to stay in Portsmouth! Close to the beach and food. 10ish min drive to cabrits. ~30ish min to batibou beach & red rocks. Clean room and someone came to clean everyday. Typical dishes in the kitchen but could have more (scissors), super convenient tho! A restaurant owned by hotel right at the entrance & convenient. We did not try their breakfast though. Some noise from animals can be heard in the morning. We went during their renovations starting ~9ish am but wasn’t an issue for us since we woke up early. Staff was really nice with easy check in and out! "

"Breakfast was excellent (included) as was dinner. Pool was clean and pool surroundings comfortable. View of ocean is incredible. Room was clean and perfectly appointed with large TV, adaptors, air conditioning, refrigerator etc. Staff was friendly and attentive and helpful with any necessary arrangements etc."

"The hotel is lovely. The rooms are nice, but the pool, the garden the grounds are just stunning. Its location on the water overlooks the sunset which is magnificent every night. The staff is a mixed bag. They want to be very helpful, but just seems like there is a lack of knowledge, follow through, etc. at the front desk which can be frustrating. Everyone else is lovely. The bellmen, the grounds staff etc. just want to make your stay great. The gardener spent 30 minutes with us explaining his crops. The grounds staff cut us a coconut and taught us about how to eat it. Nobody feels like they are doing anything for a tip, although I’m sure they appreciate it. Just feels like they are kind and helpful. The food is meh. Breakfast buffet is nice with delicious fresh fruit and lovely service. The dinner restaurant isn’t the best. "

"The deluxe room was very spacious with stand in shower along with a bath tub. The wifi was not working in the higher rooms. Nonetheless the staff had courtesy taxi to nearby spots."

"Room was pretty clean. Staff were nice. It was a quick stay didn't get to use most amenities. Breakfast was good. "

"The staff was very nice and helpful. My room did have issues with no hot water. The hotel has a nice view of the water and there is a restaurant next door. "
