"We chose this because we heard Siem Reap (SR) had become a mad house (it has in parts). GVV is a beautiful oasis. There are only four villas, each are two floor, architecturally fun, 2BR/2.5BA. Grounds and pool beautifully landscape. Staff great. But it is too far to walk to SR, which isn’t really a big deal given super cheap tuktuks. "

The owners refunded the difference to us, and we liked the hotel so much that we stayed three days longer. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. "We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. It was absolutely huge. Very well furnished and appointed, although it could do with an update of the lounge suite. Pool was good. Check-in was a trick as the new security man did not understand English, hence our attempts at 'office, administration and check-in' were a waste of time. However, eventually all was solved.
