Province of Livorno Hotels with shuttle

"Lots of problems with non working showers and air conditioning units. Very old units. Switched rooms after viewing 3 more. The air conditioner quit during the night, so it was very hot. Fixed the next day and then it quit again that night. I had to shut it off for an hour to thaw it out and restart. The view from the hotel is beautiful. They rooms need updating."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Camping Le Pianucce is situated in a lovely wood and has great views across to the sea. We stayed in one of the mobile cabins with airconditioning but actually at night it was cool enough. The onsite facilities were very good - well-stocked shop, good restaurant which also did sandwiches for lunch and take away pizza, gelateria, playground and good pools with plenty of shade. "This privately run camping site is a gem of a find on the island of Elba. Unlike the more commercial campsites such as Eurocamp which are also twice as expensive, this campsite specialises in giving its guests a truly personal touch. Everybody that works there is so friendly and they went out of their way to help myself and children during our stay. The campsite is a few kilometres off the beaten track, and offers great views of the surrounding hills and beach. Having a car would be an advantage...
