Province of Belluno Family friendly Hotels

"I recently spent much of the month of July traveling through Italy. Of the 8 hotels we stayed at, Hotel Pontechiesa was the only disappointment. Pros: Our room was clean and the hotel is within walking distance of downtown Cortina. Cons: 1) Breakfast seating is assigned. In our case, we were seated next to a family with two coughing children. "The hotel is excellent, and the service is sensational. The concierge and reception staff are very helpful and respond to everything very quickly. The location is very good for those who don't want to stay in the city center (like us). The only point for improvement is the room cleanliness; we found some small items (makeup) from previous guests in places that would be easy to spot, but nothing that ruined the experience.
