"As it is out of town - there is no easy access to the railway station at Monopoli which meant an expensive taxi ride (30 Euros) each way. The taxi's however were prompt and reliable with very courteous drivers. Very few restaurants on site other than snacks being offered at the bar areas at certain times with a little cafe within walking distance out of the site. "Our bed was broken in the room and it was impossible to sleep on it. When we spoke to reception- they said they were booked out and couldn’t offer us another family room to change. One of us had to sleep with 2 kids on a sofa bed and one on a broken bed. Not a quality of sleep one would expect in such a hotel. Breakfast was nice though with a terrace with a very nice view to the city."

"Where do I begin about this terrible experience in a very poor located hotel! To begin with for anybody who’s looking to book this hotel, there is no air conditioner in the bedroom, so be ready to sweat all night with zero ability to get air. The bed you will be sleeping on is equivalent of a bed for a five-year-old girl that’s on spring mattress that’s laying on a chain-link fence. "Kind of out of the way and a little challenging to get to if not experienced driver of 1/2 lane roads. Having said that a pretty property but old and musty particularly “the lobby”. Room had a swarm of flying insects of different varieties and this was a two bedroom suite supposedly. Had to kill many myself would have been nice had they done this before assigning the room. It was all we could get. Breakfast and staff at breakfast not on par with other 5 star hotels. Pool is nice as is the staff...
