"I booked a Lakeview Cinderella cottage and was given a Cinderella cottage in the back of the resort. MAINSTAY, for the love of god, you cannot expect to charge the prices you do and not have proper air conditioning in your rooms. The windows in Cinderella Cottage are wooden louvers with a tiny mesh covering there is no way the AC would get that cottage remotely cool because the windows are not properly secure. "With the exception of the loud music coming from multiple day visitors the property was well maintained over the years… last visited 20 years ago. The staff were friendly and very helpful, food and ambience was top shelf compared to the other resorts and hotels in Georgetown. Add this to your list when visiting Guyana. "
