"There is no need to stay here unless you really need to be in the centre of Guayaquil, which is not particularly pleasant. It is rather dirty, noisy and a bustling commercial area. Although the Malecon 2000 is only 6 blocks away, you can also stay close to it in a nicer area. The building is old and the B&B, which is a converted apartment, is also old. "Staying at Cino Fabiani Guesthouse was one of many pleasant memories of our two nights in Guayaquil. "Our room that was booked was taken on our arrival. We where not satisfied with the other room which had two bunk beds, one double bed inside a ten by ten room. Bathroom had to be shared which was not up to our standard. We hope no charge was put on our credit card."
