"Communication is reliable. You can WhatsApp them. During my first night, water was not working for the whole island. They turned on the emergency water for me so that I could shower. Also, no hot water, but it’s not necessary with the hot weather. It was actually refreshing. It’s at the entrance to the island, so you wont get lake view views like you do on the northwest side, but everything is so close, just walk over there."
