"We stayed at Cueva de las Águilas for 2 nights and 3 days. While the location and the actual experience at Bahía de las Águilas were excellent, the check-in process left a lot to be desired. We arrived around 8:00 PM; they had messaged us at 7:40 PM to confirm our arrival, but due to poor reception, we didn't see it. Thankfully, they held our room. However, the check-in felt disorganized—we weren't told about the tent locks or the towel deposit upfront, leading to several frustrating trips back and forth to the lobby.
The lobby staff also lacked information on tours; I actually had to find the concierge’s WhatsApp on their website myself because the front desk didn't provide a contact number.
The highlight was the "Premium Package" trip to the beach. There was a brief mix-up where staff tried to group us with a larger boat, and it was a bit awkward having to insist on the private transport we paid for in front of other guests. Once settled, though, it was worth it. The private setup and the lunch provided were both excellent. We would recommend this place, but suggest being proactive with communication!"
