"We booked as an overnight stop on a long drive so we were grateful for a good room and an easy location not far from the main route we were travelling. We were grateful to find a good hotel that was dog friendly as we were travelling with our Cocker Spaniel. The room was a little worn in places but otherwise a very good stay. Good value for an overnight stop. "

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great value set menu in the restaurant, along with a hearty breakfast, and really excellent to have access to the bar/cafe during the day. We stayed in the suite, which had two skylight windows, and was very atmospheric in the evening. "
