"Sadly a bad smell from the carpet let the standards down. The hotel was otherwise clean and in good condition throughout. Staff were friendly and welcoming but could be a bit more forthcoming with general info rather than needing prompts. Car parking was ok but you had to pay by app to park. The bathroom was definitely compact, but adequate and clean. Overall we would stay again but it might not be our first choice"
