"Unfortunately I can’t give this property a positive rating. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the room was large and clean but it was absolutely freezing, with no proper service for dinner, and the locations is down a beaten track that not even the most adventurous backpackers would want to venture on in the dark"

"I stayed two nights at the Heritance Tea Factory hotel. As soon as I arrived I was amazed by the scenery, it looks just exactly the same as the photo, surrounded by tea plantations with a great with of the mountains from afar. It is a bit of a drive from the town but it was nice to be in somewhere very peaceful and scenic. They have a lovely welcome ritual and tea. The hotel still has the engines from the factory days and they runs every night for 30 mins. It is full of stories in this hotel....

"Sorry to say, this was my least favorite hotel in Sri Lanka (and the most expensive). The vibes were just weird, and the room did not have a secure lock - unsettling for me as a female solo traveler. It's very loud in the halls (no noise insulation), and dogs will bark outside of your first floor room middle of the night. I probably slept for 2 hours and couldn't wait to leave.
