"Maun lodge accepted a last minute reservation after another hotel was overbooked and picked me up at the airport 90 minutes later. Staff was friendly and helpful. The facility is a little older but still nicely maintained and the evening dinner specials are a pretty good deal. Glad my first hotel was oversold and I was able to stay here."

"Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. "A fabulous place with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guide was the most knowledgeable man who knew the name of every bird and animal we saw. He could spot the smallest bird at the top of a tree whilst driving. He found us our first Leopard - amazing. My husband managed to lose his phone and the guide was able to track that in the bush as well!!! It was a long day with two drives and we were there for 5 nights which was maybe one too many. "I arrived really late in the evening. I was able to order a sandwich from the kitchen before it closed. There is nothing around the area. My major concern was that there were a ton of insects that I had to kill so they didn't bother me while I slept. I left early in the morning to join a safari tour."
