"Amazing hospitality. The staff went their way to make our two day honeymoon memorable. The welcome was fit for royalty, the accomodation simply defined luxury, the food very good. There was an array of excellent activites, topped by game drives, canoe excursion. Would love to return"

"Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. "Die Xakanaxa mobil camp hat nichts mit mit Xakanaxa im Moremi Nationalpark zu tun. Es ist eine Irreführung! Wir waren am Khwai River aussrhalb des Parks. Hier wurde für uns alleine (3 Personen) das Camp am Fluss bei den Hippos aufgebaut. Wir hatten einen Koch, ein Zeltbauer und unseren Wildführer. Alle hatten sich super bemüht und es war ein tolls Erlebnis. Das Essen war sehr gut für diese Bedingungen und das Uebernachten war so wie bei den Pfadfinder, echt naturnah! My major concern was that there were a ton of insects that I had to kill so they didn't bother me while I slept. I left early in the morning to join a safari tour."

"Ich habe pro Nacht 1100 € bezahlt und mich sehr gefreut. Schon bei der Ankunft die erste große Enttäuschung bevor ich das Zelt betreten habe. Von der Terrasse aus sah man nur Kühe. Selbst nachts hörte man die Kuhglocken und die Laute der Kuh. Man benötigt eine Bootsfahrt von 30 Minuten, die auch vor 6:15 Uhr nicht startet, um zum Game Drive zu kommen.
