"The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Kings Head Hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable and cosy, the food was excellent and all the staff were just amazing, nothing was too much trouble, they were all friendly and polite and made our stay extra special. We felt it was very good value."

"Excellent place to stay. The whole property was immaculate. Very nice breakfast cooked to order. Very friendly couple running the B&B, particularly Lucy who was 'front of house' for breakfast. "
