"This is the second time I stay at this Scandic Svolvaer. The room is clean, has view of the water. Staffs are very helpful. Located near the city center, shopping, sight-seeing tour operators and restaurants. The room price is very reasonable. Just the right price point for the location."

"Great stay in Narvik at the Royal. Great breakfast included. Old school bar restaurant attached. If you’re skiing and don’t have a car, it’s a 20-30 minute hike up the hill. Call a taxi. Good lobby snacks including sandwiches if you arrive late. Rooms w view of the ski hill are available. Check that ski hill is fully open when planning. Gondola was closed and 3 slopes were open in Feb 2026 as they prepared for World Championships "
