"The hotel was uniquely designed in a way music lovers will appreciate. Close to downtown St John's, but still far enough away that if you have an early night you won't be disturbed. It is right next to the shipping harbour, so there was some noise (if you're a lighter sleeper). Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful."

"This is a well-equipped hotel room. Unfortunately the room we were in needed the carpets cleaned by professionals and were filthy. I didn't even want to walk on them with my socks on. That is the only problem I had with the old place"

"I stay here often facilities, and the view is overwhelmingly nice. Staff is friendly but no amenities if you go on the first of the week or in thr off-season restaurant bar area is closed only open on the weekends if you’re looking for a getaway don’t book on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.."

"Excellent location. Free parking close to shopping and lots of dining choices. Room only had one sitting chair. Free beverage was beer and not even Newfoundland beer! Front reception staff was friendly and helpful. "

"Unique old building in walking distance to downtown and George St. As noted on their website, you can hear street noise from the rooms. The room was comfortable, the only issue we encountered was we were unable to connect with their Wi-Fi despite asking for assistance. "
