This was challenged but the hotel continued to insist that it needed to be paid and that it was advised (despite it not being in the listing or the confirmation email). "Bei der Buchung steht es würde keine Rezeption geben. Die gibt es, die Heizungen haben gemacht was sie wollten dementsprechend kalt war es. Man muss für Handtücher Pfand von 6 Euro bezahlen man bekommt nichtmal eins um sich die Hände abzutrocknen. Diese Info wäre hilfreich gewesen davon wussten wir nichts.Wir waren mit unserem Hund da und ich sehe es ein wenn Haarbüschel rumliegen, dass ich die selbstverständlich wegräume. Aber nach dem Aufenthalt zu saugen,wischen etc. finde ich für den Preis...

"Reasonably close to the Schiphol airport; can be reached via the hotel's airport shuttle (free of charge) & at least a bus that goes from downtown. Very friendly, patient, and competent staff. It would be helpful if there could be an electric kettle in the room."

"This hotel is definitely off the beaten path away from the main part of Amsterdam, nice and quiet residential area. Not a lot of options for restaurants in this area, but the metro is a short five minute walk that can take you into town. Beautiful property upscale, tech forward, and funky started off a disappointment, but ended on a high note. Room was hot when we first checked in, 75F, you do have access to the climate controls but that’s an illusion, the property is very eco friendly and they control the climate. We ended up asking for a fan to move the air, to cool it down and make it more comfortable. One of my pet peeves while traveling are properties not spending the money on a good pillows, asked housekeeping to bring us another set, which were brand new! We also had issues with the refrigerator but maintenance was able to fix it, so again a win! We enjoy the Ruby line of boutique hotels and recommend staying at this property if you don’t mind the travel into the city and want a quite stay."

"Loved this location, we had the bunk room which was awesome with kids. The breakfast was proper and the coffee was good. You have to request cleaning (which the staff were responsive too but never actually happened) and house keeping missed garbage stuffed down between the bunk beds which was my 4/5. We will be back loved it otherwise"

"The hotel was in a fairly central location, although it was a bit of a walk to most of the main attractions. The upside was that it was in a quieter area, making it a peaceful place to stay away from the crowds. The room was spacious by Amsterdam standards and had a modern, well-designed interior. Overall, it was comfortable and offered good value if you don’t mind walking a little to explore the city."
