"Avoid this hotel. The hotel is not maintained and the basic functions, heating/cooling, lack of cleanliness, plumbing and response to immediate and continuous issues was poorly handled. We had to leave. We were moved from 2 rooms on the 3rd floor with overwhelming moisture and cooling failure and a disgusting mildew odor. "This is my 6th stay at Villas do Indico. As always, exceptional from start to finish. The beachfront setting is stunning, the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, and the entire property exudes a sense of calm and rustic charm. The cuisine is outstanding — fresh, beautifully prepared, and consistently delicious. Most impressive of all was the service: every member of staff was attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience."

"Not exceptional. The hotel was comfortable with, “no frills”. The staff was continuously working for some sort of underhanded/under the table “commissions”, “cut of the action”, with every single thing we attempted to work out with the concierge or drivers. "The hotel was great, modern and very large room, friendly staff, and beautiful pool and lobby. But it doesn't merit a five. The problem were the staff in the bar and restaurant. I had to ask two people for coffee at breakfast. Also had to ask about a sandwich at lunch at the bar. How can it take almost 30 minutes to get a sandwich?"
