"Clean, comfortable and warm, easy access to Cairngorm mountain / ski centre, Loch Morlich, Reindeer Centre and Loch Uaine (Green Loch). Food menu in bar a little limited (Burgers etc.) but has other eateries. Only negative is the walls are thin so can hear people in next rooms but the staff were very quick to act"

"Hotel was quite basic and our room didn’t reflect the photos shown here on this site. Our bathroom had mould on the roof, was very small and just felt quite old. The bed had a fancy coloured light at the back of it however I think the rest of the room needed a little TLC to freshen it up. "

"Really cool place to stay and the breakfast was great. They had the normal grab and go stuff and a hot breakfast included in the price. They even made sure to ask if I was vegan or not. It’s the first hotel I’ve staying in a while where the room had a bed and pillows that were perfect, a shower that was perfect, and actual tv channels so we could watch a movie at night. Staff were super friendly and helpful. "

"The amenities, as well as the high-level of cleanliness at the Clubhouse was very comforting but what truly made our stay special was Simon and his family, who own and run this establishment. We arrived fairly late after check-in time, but Simon, and one of his children met us, walked us to the room, and made sure that we were at ease while also recommending a good spot that was close for us to grab dinner, even though it was late. "We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely polite and professional, making us feel very welcome from start to finish. Our room was clean, comfortable, and the heating was amazing — we felt warm and cosy throughout our stay. We also dined at the restaurants and the food was really tasty, with excellent service.
