Monufia Hotels with Hot Tubs

"Please not that 4 star in Egypt is line 2 stars anywhere else. There was good and room for improvement. The good: - location - safety - very excellent beds, bedding and pillows - free water daily - Nice big bathroom and nice towels - staff were friendly The not so good: - although we were supposedly on a nonsmoking floor, the ventilation system was pumping in smoke into our room. As soon as you got into the elevator of our floor, you can smell smoke so obviously they tolerate smoking, or they all smoke so they can’t smell it themselves. - the hotel offered to move us, we didn’t move because we felt it would not help as The hotel clearly prioritizes smokers vs non-smokers, you can tell that in the lobby where it smells like smoke and flowers - 2 sparking wine were $38 CDN, total rip off -breakfast is nice but not worth $56 CDN - no real atmosphere in the hotel."

"I expected a 5-star experience at Le Passage, but it was subpar at best. The main attraction, the casino, is randomly open but generally closed, and the "disco" was an abandoned, "couples-only" ghost town. Every gift shop looked dusty and forgotten, with employees just staring at their phones. The "luxury" ends at the lobby. The room was a disaster: the beds are on wheels, so you're constantly rolling around, and the AC is purely for aesthetics. It stayed uncomfortably hot and humid all night. To make it worse, the door lets in a ton of light and the noise levels were unfortunate. I was constantly woken up late at night and early in the morning. They nickel-and-dime you for everything, the drinks are overpriced and not worth buying, and the experience just isn't there. The only saving graces were the great pool, the nice staff and the free airport transfer. The mid-range buffet was fine, and the free laundry for long stays is awesome, but it doesn't make up for the lack of sleep and closed amenities. It’s a 3-star hotel with 5-star prices. Skip it."

"Well worth it if you’re looking to stay in Giza near the pyramids vs. in Cairo. The staff was kind and the communication was prompt. The view from the rooftop is amazing. "

"Overall, this is a very good layover hotel. It is clean and the restaurants are very adequate. I wish they provided better clarification on how to pick up the shuttle bus. I texted them this request but no answer. However, for the price I think it’s a good value and I would stay there again."
