"Superb location, charming hotel, absolut stunning view of both ocean and rooftop pool from the family room with (huge) balcony and sea view. We felt we had gotten the princess suite 😀. "We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "

"I stayed at Zanzibar Palace Hotel from June 8 to June 10 and had an amazing experience. The hotel is full of character, with beautiful Zanzibari decor and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect—close to all the sights, yet quiet at night. A true gem in Stone Town. Highly recommended!"

"Incredibly historic building with unique individually decorated rooms! Perfect location for walking around Stonetown. Delicious breakfast served on rooftop! Request Belle room if you don't want a lot of stairs. It has a huge balcony along the front of the building so it's fun to see tourists stop and take photos!"

"The hotel is very new next to the new stadium sports complex which is one year old. There was some problems with the shower door and safe but the staff quickly moved us to another room. Breakfast and room service were very good. The shower has excellent strong water pressure and air cons work very well. You have to get a taxi into the centre of stone town which will cost you USD15 each way, but it is worth for the convenience of being away from the hustle and bustle - it was peaceful. "
