"Fantastic Stay at Tembo Hotel! We had an amazing experience at Tembo Hotel. The location is super central, the hotel is clean, stylish, and very well-maintained. Our room had an absolutely stunning view — it really made the stay extra special! A big shout-out to the staff: we checked out after midnight at 1 AM, and they arranged transport to the airport and even packed breakfast for us to take along. That level of service truly impressed us. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here...

"The environment was very welcoming and everyday i saw how hard everyone on the staff worked in unison to provide me comfort and convenience. Elisha and Zebron i dealt with daily and they made sure everything was in order and that i enjoyed myself. "We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "

"Incredibly historic building with unique individually decorated rooms! Perfect location for walking around Stonetown. Delicious breakfast served on rooftop! Request Belle room if you don't want a lot of stairs. It has a huge balcony along the front of the building so it's fun to see tourists stop and take photos!"

"The hotel is very new next to the new stadium sports complex which is one year old. There was some problems with the shower door and safe but the staff quickly moved us to another room. Breakfast and room service were very good. The shower has excellent strong water pressure and air cons work very well. You have to get a taxi into the centre of stone town which will cost you USD15 each way, but it is worth for the convenience of being away from the hustle and bustle - it was peaceful. "
