"Marea Baja was a great place. At the time of booking, the price seemed a bit pricey, but upon arrival it was worth every penny. The property was clean, comfortable, and very well located — super accessible to downtown, restaurants, bars, and everything else. The front desk staff were very helpful and genuinely happy to recommend their favorite local spots for food and drinks. I loved the vibe!!"

"I really like staying at this place. It’s my second time i’ve stayed there for 2 to 3 days for dental work in the town. I reserved the king bed deluxe suite the photo showed it had a large bathroom. Standard room I had last time and site photos show very small bathrooms with shower. Room 1 - The entrance is ground level in a building across the street from the main hotel. You enter through a vine covered entrance that has a cute seating area outside in the privacy of the vine covered enclosure...

"The hotel is in a deplorable state. The photos I sent you speak volumes. I used to be an administrative employee of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of the Interior. I felt like a beggar. I showed a person from the hotel the poor condition and received no response! I request compensation, otherwise I will publish the situation in several tourism magazines."

"This place used to be really good, but management hasn’t taken care of it properly. The A/C wasn’t working, and the room felt humid. The beds were super hard, and the blankets were old and yellowish. I have zero complaints about the employees; they were really nice. However, the building itself feels neglected and poorly maintained."
