"Great location far enough away from Mirissa. Peaceful and welcoming staff. Difficult to find a spot to swim in the ocean but possible to take a dip. Hotel pool wasn’t cleaned early enough for us to swim one morning (not open until after 8). Sri Lankan brekkie available as well as eggs and Gandon’s style, serving sizes were very generous. "

"We had booked room from lakraj for new years eve, and we had high expectations for the place cos of the price and pictures. When we arrived to hotel, staff told us that our room is not ready yet ( because they was still building the hotel) and they booked an another hotel from nearest city. They paid transports and new years eves dinner. But still we did not feel happy because we had travelled long to get to lakraj and now we had to travel again to another destination. "This is newly opened hotel so everything looked nice. The room was big and nicely equipped. It was clean but the next morning we were negatively surprised seeing rat in our room coming out from our toilet. The service was good and staff was very hospitile but it was visible that they are still learning how to do the business. Namely when coming to hotel our room has been given to other family so we have got another one untill they have settled ours. Although we have not been disturbed by noise...
