"Location was perfect, room was clean other than a random pill by the door and some hair on the shower drain. The view was absolutely beautiful, and I loved how the giant bed eas next to the window. Will be staying here again for sure!!"

"The hotel is very comfy and spacious. Also decent parking for downtown Boston. Not a lot of amenities, but there’s a lot around you so it doesn’t really matter. There are the green & orange line T stops very close to you and you have the Prudential center very close."

The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed—honestly hard to leave once you’re in them. The amenities are on another level, whether it’s the spa, dining, or just the overall atmosphere of the property. Service is consistent, professional, and actually helpful (which, let’s be real, isn’t always a given at places like this). Everything runs the way it should, and it shows. If this is an option, it’s the only option. I’ll stay here every time without hesitation."

"There were bags of garbage outside our window. Disappointed there was no high tea served while touting high tea in a book for sale at the front desk. No mini bar in the room. Requires room service."

"I would definitely stay here again. It’s a cool historic building with real exposed brick, and in a great location. It’s right by the aquarium and hop-on city tours. It’s a 10-minute walk to the North End and Paul Revere’s house. It’s even closer to landmarks like Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. The hotel no longer has a Starbucks in it but there’s a 7-11 right next door if you need quick snacks. I didn’t eat at Joia, the restaurant that is connected to the hotel, but it looked really good and is in the same restaurant family as some other top-rated Italian Boston picks. As an independent hotel, some of the finishing details were different than the chain hotels I usually stay in. But that just made it kind of remind me of independent hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe. Definitely not bad, just different! Overall this is a great little (big!) hotel."
