"We were surprised with how close this was from the Interislander baggage claim, got there in about 3mins. This was great news because our ferry was delayed due to the awful weather on the Strait. The owner was there at reception well after 9pm to let us in. The owners were also very helpful, told us where to get supplies from and even let us leave our bag at reception while we went into town. On that note, it's also very close to town too, just a stones throw. "

"Lovely central property in Blenheim with very comfortable suite which we could have comfortably lived in for an extended period as it was a spacious apartment size with a kitchen, dining table & chairs & lounge, then a separate bedroom, separate walk in wardrobe & large bathroom. Not a typical size room but I’d hazard a guess that other rooms would be very acceptable."

"Good kitchen staff but the room’s toilet was smelly. I vomited twice every time i went to the toilet, on the first night itself. The pungent smell was really strong. I called reception at 3 am wanted to change room but no one picked up. The next morning, i had to buy electric scented oil warmer to reduce the pungent smell. "

"Had a great stay! The facilities were great. The only downside was that the rooms could do with a bit of updating. Staff were fantastic. "Room was clean. Hotel was clean. Had a delicious restaurant. Restaurant staff were so friendly when I had an opportunity to interact with them. Check in/our was easy. Gave me recommendations for food etc. About 15 mins walk from the main center but an easy walk. Evenings are a bit quieter so if you don't like that then stay closer. I was a female solo traveler and I had no issues walking into town for dinner/errands/breakfast. By a beautiful river and park. Loved this area ! "

"The room was clean, good lighting near the bed for reading. The shower had good pressure, and easy controls. The towels were large and absorbed well. The Lobby had seating where we played a game with our group. The bar was well stocked and had delicious cocktails. We did not use the spa or sauna or pool. "
