"Hotel was in exelent located for the mount Ruapehu. Looked like some staff were in training and one night the forgot out food order for over 1 hour. All very plesent and apologize. Not much tea and coffee in room on arrival"

"I would not recommend staying here if you want to get a good night's rest. You can literally hear everything through the walls, conversations, doors opening, footsteps, etc. Tried calling management to change my room, but they did not respond to my messages or answer the phone. Very disappointed, in particular to the response I received after I had checked out (see email acknowledging the issue)."

"The Copthorne is a central and easy place to stay in Palm North . Updated exterior is contemporary and more appealing . Great that rooms now have heatpump/ AC. Reception staff always helpful and ensure a smooth check in/ out."

"basic room with kettle, fridge, toaster, iron and small microwave. milk and tea provided but take your own coffee and sugar conveniently next to takeaway/"restaurant" and on main highway near race course comfortable queen bed tho" only 2 pillows - no spares effective heat pump so room easily warmed no frills but economy and could stay there again on main road but little road noise"
