Only drawback it is up a little hill not too far but if you have walking difficulties it takes it out of you a bit "

"This establishment is amazing! The rooms are cozy and roomy. If you're visiting for the races the grandstand is just a short walk from the hotel. The island is very accommodating in general but the biggest star of the show is Lucy. She helped me get a bicycle delivered to the hotel for me to ride around on, then showed me where to dry my clothes after the island gave me a free shower. "Hotel was welcoming, clean rooms. All staff was very pleasant.We had a room overlooking the Aqua garden (instead of a sea view). A very pleasant outlook. The swimming pool is a weird design, slopes in from all sides. Breakfast was buffet style, with a good selection. On the first evening, we dined in the Bonsai Pan Asian restaurant, although not run by the hotel, it is accessible through the hotel lobby. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the food was excellent but a bit pricey. "

"All the staff were lovely & friendly. The breakfasts were delicious & nothing was too much trouble for them. Miriam made delicious pancakes for our granddaughter which was so kind. Miriam & Robin are lovely hosts & can highly recommend this guest house. "

"A very nice quiet hotel located right of the promenade , villa marina and near many good places to eat and shop within walking distance. Excellent staff provides quiet, friendly service. Room was very comfortable , quiet and everything worked well and was well maintained. It’s a great choice in Douglas. Restaurant had very good food too."
