"This was truly a gem within walking distance to the town centre. We adored the gardens, lobby and resting areas, and the spacious room and the pool. The interior furnishings were luxurious. The owners have great pride in the place and attention to detail shows at every corner. The only letdown was the small number of staff, that impacts the service a bit. Still it is excellent value nd recommend to stay more than a couple days to truly enjoy the place. "

"We stayed for just one night and were blown away by how stunning the chateau and its views. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and attentive without being fussy. We stayed in the Napoleon suite which had incredible views of the Loire from the balcony. The room itself was huge with beautiful period furniture and features. "Comfortable bed and the kitchenette was adequate for small snacks. Close enough for the city centre. Underground carpark with about 25 spaces but costs extra. Staff friendly and helpful. Some noise from the nearby railway line but NOT so much as to disturb sleep (we had the window open as it was hot weather. No air-con but the hotel had provided a portable fan. "

Nous sommes arrivés en début d’après midi le samedi afin de faire une après midi vélo (préalablement réservé par téléphone avec l’accueil de l’hôtel) 40€ la journée vélo (un peu cher car nous ne nous en sommes servis que l’après midi et ils sont rentrés sans batterie, ils n’auraient clairement pas tenu la journée !!) mais la balade était sublime Angers à Grez Neville ! "Localisé en plein centre de Saumur, hotel très accueillant avec des facilités pour les voyageurs a vélo comme nous. La piscine est petite mais appréciable pour la détente et l espace détente très sympa. La chambre est propre même si l espace est un peu restreint ce qui n est pas un soucis pour des vélo randonneurs. Le personnel est très accueillant et très à l écoute avec de bonnes recommandations de restaurant dans notre cas. "

"Hôtel hyper bien situé ! On ne peut pas faire plus proche du centre ville. Chambre spacieuse, confortable et climatisée. La chambre est refaite tous les jours (ce n’est pas le cas de tous les hôtels…). "There are always a few small things (our cold tap barely worked) but overall, this hotel was brilliant. Staff were friendly, spa was really well appointed and treatments were both very good and reasonably priced. Its location right on the river and in the heart of a tiny but bustling little village is idyllic. Room was spacious, comfortable bed, all the necessary accessories. Highly recommended "
