"This was a very unique place to stay. Its an old building that has been very nicely renovated. The owner was so incredibly nice and accommodating. She gave is advice on what was in the area and served us breakfast in the morning, but we were only there one night passing through. This place is very rustic and remote, so just be prepared - no TV, no wifi, etc. But it made for a nice night of talking, reading and playing games."

"While prepaid, we were never informed this property is permanently closed. We had a very hard time finding it, hours, and when we achieved getting there, the gates were padlocked. We honked and a caretaker came to the gate seeming surprised we were there. “Ferme! Ferme! Finis!” he cried. Showing him the reservation with picture of the chateau, he acknowledged we were at the right place. He made a phone all but still said “Ferme!” We had to find other lodgings and pay again."

"We had a wonderful stay at La Brauderie, the caravan/ Shepherds Hut was superb with an idyllic location and Julie was a superb host. Breakfast was excellent and very French! We only stayed one night and wished it was longer and we hope to return. "
