"Our stay as a family at this resort was absolutely amazing. The environment is beautiful, very clean, and peaceful. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I was also pleasantly surprised when the general manager ordered the front desk to give me a massage coupon, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The massage itself was fantastic and really elevated my whole experience. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway"

"We had an amazing 5 nights at the Anjiamarango. Our bungalow overlooking the sea was just idyllic- we could hear the waves as we fell asleep. The lovely cleaning ladies kept it immaculately clean too. All the staff are kind & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We just loved how peaceful it was, the beach was long and perfect for early morning beach walks. Lots of Chameleons around in the trees too which we loved spotting. The food was mostly good, we found the portions to be double the size...

"The ocean was right in front of me. Absolutely Wonderful!I have had the most wonderful week on this little island. Beautifully exotic, Sea is fabulous. I spent my days in the sea, the snorkelling is great and the hotel takes us every morning ( No charge) if you want to see other snorkelling area around the island... I walked round the island, found more beautiful little and quiet beaches. Life over there is so peaceful. My little bungalow on the beach was perfect, lovely decking area, air...

"Hotel moderne, propre. Bungalow avec vue et acces direct à la plage. Jardins extraordinaires, très bien entretenus. Plage impraticable, eau sale, rejets marrons. Séjour juste avant 2 mois de fermeture. Depart le 15 janvier, fermeture le 16. Taux d’occupation très faible. Les buffets s’en sont ressentis. Peu de choix, viandes dures... difficile de se plaindre quand on voit la pauvreté extrême du pays. Le service excursion a été formidable avec nous et nous a organisé une sortie privée du fait...

"The room was spacious and clean. The staff were really friendly and a couple of them spoke english so that was reallly helpful. The location is convenient. A few minute walk down to the main restaurants and bars. The walk can be a little dark, so have your camera flashlight handy. It is a really safe area, no issues at all. The only 2 issues i had were that the tv didn't work, only the menu page loaded but no channels and i tried having a hot bath, but there was no hot water. Either than that,...

"We booked here as our flight out of Tana was at 3.20am so wanted somewhere to chill, rest & get showered near the airport. Room was clean & spacious, comfy bed & great shower. We ate in the restaurant and had really great food & cocktails. Had a quick sleep before being picked up for our flight home. Would definitely stay again if in Tana!"

"This is our second stay at the Relais - we stayed here in 2025 just for one night but are now staying for two so we can decompress coming from London and also enjoy the pool and restaurant. There is also great WiFi so I can complete some work. Friendly staff, lovely food especially the breakfast which has a variety of hot dishes, cold buffet, pastries and omelettes. Rooms are good and the grounds delightful - a real oasis."
