"Could not beat the location, absolutely stunning. Our room was also top drawer. However, dinner was mediocre, waiting staff were poorly trained. Breakfast was poor, again few staff, not attentive and food choices were very limited. I had to chase 3 times to order a simple omelette and it was not busy or peak season. Overall beautiful setting which promised highly but service did not deliver and certainly not aligned to the price paid"

"A beautiful place but it has a few minor shortfalls The pool is lovely but no bar service We were in a group of four couples and none of us could work the phones to get reception or room service We couldn’t get into our rooms until 4:30pm which makes it difficult Two of the four couples found their rooms a bit average for the price"

"Beautiful well kept hotel with true 5 star service. Rooms are beautifully decorated and a good size. The indoor pool is nice but they should have a sign that says it is a quiet pool as we were told off by staff that we were being too loud. Aside from this incident, the breakfast was nice and varied, check in and check out was smooth."

"We arrived hot and tired after a long drive.. Blois Novotel was a welcome relief. Reception was helpful and smiley... plus the air con a delight! And the gated outdoor car park and secure bike store were exactly right. Rooms very clean and 'fit for purpose', comfortable bed good sheets. The hotel was everything we needed !! Also very quiet."

"Très bon hôtel situé en plein cœur de Blois près de tous les restaurants. Personnel très gentil. Fontaine d’eau disponible. Le seul truc a améliorer est l’air climatisé. Il ne refroidissait pas assez même si on l’a réglé au maximum."

"La chambre est plutot bien décorée mais ça ne suffit pas. La literie n'est franchement par terrible. Le personnel de la réception est vraiment très professionnel et serviable. Gros gros bémol pour la partie restaurant où clairement l'organisation (notamment du diner) est à revoir... on a dû patienter plus de 40mn pour être installés alors que nous avions réservé et que la moitié de la salle était vide... Tout ça pour que 20mn après avoir enfin pu être installé à une table les serveuses...

"Une chambre sans climatisation en pleine semaine de canicule. Une chaleur horrible dans la chambre, même les draps et le mobilier étaient chaud!! Nous n’avons pas pu dormir de la nuit. La petite fenêtre permettait à peine de mettre la tête à l’extérieur où la température pendant la nuit était bien meilleure!! Sinon chambre propre et lit confortable. Petit déjeuner correct également. Bon emplacement. Peut être une bonne adresse en dehors de l’été!"

"This hotel is beautiful and very inviting. The rooms were a bit small, which was a challenge, but we made the most of it and got along ok. I would stay here again, but would ask for the largest room they have. The location was wonderful, and the property team was very kind. They need to mix up the menu, as they serve the same 3 items every night. We did ask for a different meal, and they somehow made it happen."
