"Just what we wanted to end our stay in Portugal after visiting Lisbon, Sintra and Porto. The grounds and hotel were "chill" -- peaceful and restful. The staff was wonderful. We had a side trip to Nazare' and thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset on the beach while having a cocktail. The staff was helpful in directing us to a pharmacy just a short distance away. All made the process most painless. I would recommend this hotel to all who want to see a quiet side of Portugal."

"Parking was an issue"

"Reception was very helpful. We wanted to try Obidos' signature Ginja drink, so they offered us a taste for free. The room was a bit small, but we did not pay much for it, so it is understandable. Plus we picked the cheapest option so we understood. And since the room was small, our neighbors could hear us and we could hear them. However, the amenities were great. We were given a welcome bottle of water and nuts. The bathroom had soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There was a restaurant we could...

"Location and upkeep of the hotel was very good…very few room amenities for the price, no water, fridge or iron etc. the hotel states parking is 500 meters away, which I think is underestimated and it is a straight uphill climb to get to the parking. If you cannot handle a significant amount of exercise you may need to take a taxi. No shuttle available. When we commented on this issue we were told they don’t charge for parking."

"Very basic simple hotel. Impecably clean, well maintained. The breakfast is ok. I think for the price it is a really good deal. I walked to the beach. The hotel is located in a very local neighborhood and although not super closecto the beach it is a walkable distance. I got lost, without battery on my phone and the person at the reception was super helpful."
