"We loved this hotel, however there were no locks on the door of one of the bedrooms in our suite. The room could be accessed from the outside. The hotel is on a beautiful hilltop but, we couldn’t let our kids sleep in that room. The hotel had no way to rectify. The hotel and staff are amazing but that would be a consideration for not returning to the 3 bedroom suite. "

"September 2025. The accommodation was clean, with comfortable beds and a well-maintained bathroom. The staff at the JW Marriott St. Maarten Beach Resort & Spa provided exemplary service. The resort offered a luxurious atmosphere, with notable features including the fitness centers, spa and more... The only minor issue encountered was the lack of clear communication regarding the closure of some on-site restaurants during check-in and Beach Seaweed. "Lovely stuff. Beautiful view, the best! No restaurant, no beach access. "

"We had a great condo, well furnished, beds were great, great view except for the railing being so high on the lanai. Also, cooking pans and knives could use an update. Waves are rough on this side of the island so you must travel to snorkel."

"There are two restaurants on the property. We ate at each one at least once during our stay. The food was good, but I enjoyed going out and dining at the local restaurants. The bed was so comfortable. When we finally laid down in the evening we got some good rest. The staff were friendly and attentive."
