I called the number posted on the door; they said they tried to contact me, but that’s a lie, obviously— I wouldn’t have shown up there if they had. The very rude woman tried to get me to stay in a nearby hotel, but I went there to take a look, and it was filthy. "This is a large modern property just outside Riga city center, across the Daugava river. There is not much in the immediate area but it´s close to the city and has a good restaurant and bar menu. Free parking and good value for money if you don´t need to be in the center."
