"First time visiting Crete and had a wonderful experience not least because of our fantastic stay at the Mirabello Bay Luxury Resort. Starting with the amazing customer care given by everyone right from the reception welcome to housekeeping and the restaurant staff. You truly feel they all aim to create the best guest experience and prioritise taking care of their guests. A special shout out needs to be given to Matthew, the concierge, who went above and beyond in every respect taking immediate care of any request and ensuring all of our requests were taken care of. There was nothing he couldn't do and truly made our trip the most relaxing and trouble free. In addition to the people, the location of the Mirabello Bay Resort adds to the incredible experience - it is truly a beautiful hotel with fantastic views across the bay and the most magical sunrises. Photos can never do justice to how spectacular the sunrise and sea views are. I would highly recommend staying at the Mirabello Bay and certainly look forward to being able to return."

"A wonderful hotel. Great staff. The location and grounds are lovely. Pools are so perfectly maintained with plenty of sun chairs. We used the fitness center, which you can reserve. It has everything you need for a good workout. Seafront restaurants are a short walk away. The Cretan House was our favorite. Right on the harbor with impressive food. Also liked the easy parking. If you drive in Crete you know what that means. Our 4 night stay was a highlight of our 6 week trip around Crete. Highly recommend. "

"Owner/Management doesn't care or have any pride in their property with the worst plumbing ever. The parking area was poorly lit at night so I had to use a flashlight. The parking lot had a deep dip at the entrance that could cause damage to cars entering. The reception, bar, pool and dining areas were fine. The room counters had many scratches and were worn. The toilet only worked on the small flush for one day, trickled all day and then did not work at all. They gave us a bucket to flush it despite us trying to get them to send someone to fix it. They could not move us to another room. The first day there was no water for the shower until I had to find the plumber nearby fixing another room. They admitted they had a plumbing problem throughout the hotel. They did not compensate us for our trouble. The shower head leaked and was loose and the faucet was slow draining. The pool by the room had a big crack and although another layer of glass was added , it did not look good. The place think their posh but I've been to better 2 star places."

"A beautiful property with great staff! I felt immediately welcomed! Everything was clean and if we had an issues they were solved immediately. I loved everything. I would like some more late night food options other than room service maybe having one of the restaurants open later. "
