"For our first visit to Sapa, we are so happy we stayed at the Bamboo Hotel! It is conveniently located for both trekking and the amenities of Sapa. "We were touring around Vietnam and this was by far the best hotel we stayed in. We arrived in on the 6am sleeper bus from Hanoi and the allowed us to check in straight away to freshed up before our day trekking without any extra charge. "The hotel is very near from the center of Sapa. We arrived at 8 AM and they let us check-in even though the check-in time was 2:00 PM. The view from the room was spectacular. The room itself was nice, nothing too special. No lift in the hotel which is a little weird. The entrance is on the 5th floor and the room above have very nice view. The restaurant is marked Halal though they serve alcohol and pork. The breakfast was good though there were not many choices."

"Outside appearances can be deceptive, The Ngan Nga Bac Ha Hotel is welcoming and friendly. There is no lift, but staff carry your heavy luggage and walking a couple of flights of stairs is good for your health. Take time to sit outside and have a drink and watch the beauty of Vietnam unfold before you, chat to the friendly staff, they may struggle with some English, but super nice people. The manager is very helpful, assisting with problems that are not hotel related. Food was excellent."
