"We’re on bicycles visiting from Australia. The staff were welcoming and incredibly helpful ( especially Chubu , sorry for the spelling) Everyone went out of their way to solve an issue that arose and we were overwhelmed by all the help we received. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was fantastic catering for our intolerances . Highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff was great during my stay. Always smiling and willing to help. The food was very good quality and tasty. The breakfast which was included had some variation, but being a person who loves breakfast, it checked all of my boxes. The staff would see me coming and start my eggs and cooking my bacon crispy. The location was great, five minutes to Field mall and ten minutes to to the Three Chiefs Monument.I could go on and on about the location, but the area is very safe."

"Only one slight criticism, no information in the rooms regarding opening hours for breakfast, lunch etc, and checkout time, also no information on tours operating from the hotel. Apart from that I found the staff very efficient and helpful."

"Wonderful place! The manager Cameron was very helpful with some business we needed done with our passports and can’t thank him enough for that because any business process can take awhile. ALL of the staff were kind and helpful and accommodating. Most of them work hard to do so. The breakfast was good and chef David will cook you an egg any way you like it. "When we arrived, we learned the hotel was overbooked but the manager helped us into one of their sister properties. The room was comfortable and breakfast delicious. Service was great aside from some young guy at the front desk with a horrible attitude (thank goodness for the great manager!)"

"Going to first floor with no elevator might be an issue for some people. The staff was so loud way too early you can’t get any sleep in the morning. The place is clean so if you are an early bird the noise from outside won’t bother you. I did put in a complaint with front desk hopefully that helped."
