"We had a wonderful experience at Shose Farmhouse. We received a warm welcome at the reception with warm towels, tea and was introduced to the staff. The grounds were lush and filled with fruit trees and flowering plants. Our rooms had a great view and were well appointed. The restaurant on premises provided a memorable experience and the food was excellent. The staff was friendly and catered to our every need. We were given a tour of the farmhouse and saw their livestock, vegetable gardens and fresh water pond. I give this venue a thumbs up!!! Doreen & John Bellomo"

"I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at the Stella Maris Lodge."

"The bathroom was dirty and not cared properly. I had to buy toilet-bowl cleaner to whiten the bowl.Hot water was so-so, either got it too cold or too hot The bathroom was badly done - when you take a shower the water splashes all over where the toilet and sink are. Judging by the poor breakfast , which I had only 4 times in my 2 weeks stay, I never had any meals at the hotel. Around the hotel there are reasonably priced restaurants for a good meal. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful but the hotel need a revamping big time. The air conditioning was okay. There was big gaping tear in one of the curtains which was not very nice. All in all my stay was okay but it could have been better."
