"We spent a few nights at Carus Cappadocia in Suite #3 and really enjoyed our stay. We were warmly welcomed at check-in, and the spacious suite was lovely, with crisp linens, coffee and tea, bottled water and a beautiful private patio. The patio was a highlight, although being at the back of the hotel meant some alley noise, occasional strong cooking smells from neighbouring restaurants and not the best of views with some clutter in the neighbouring property but all good. The suite also had a separate room that would be perfect for a third guest.
We booked an additional night and moved to a smaller room near the rooftop terrace. It was perfect for one night and had all the key essentials.
Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed during our stay, so we missed experiencing it, although breakfast was available and cocktails were served on the rooftop until 5 p.m. We were told a new restaurant would be opening soon!
The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful, especially with restaurant recommendations.
Our only real hiccup came at checkout when the front desk mixed up our airport transfer with another guest. We were given the wrong introduction to our driver and ended up in the wrong transportation, which led to a stressful and confusing drive to the airport. Thankfully, we made it!
Overall, a lovely stay and a wonderful base for exploring Cappadocia. Thanks for the memories — we hope to return one day soon! ❤️"
