"We had a nice stay overall, with a few things worth noting.
The hotel has excellent amenities. The pool is very nice, although not heated, and the gym is excellent. There is also a pool bar and a playroom, although the latter could use some updating.
The location is very convenient, with Plum and Degenija restaurants within a 100-meter walk. Plum is slightly more expensive but offers more personalized service and, in our opinion, tastier food. Degenija is more fast-paced and less personalized, but cheaper and more kid-friendly.
We stayed in the Comfort Double Room with Terrace and Private Jacuzzi. The room was comfortable and clean, and the jacuzzi was spotless. Unfortunately, the view was disappointing. Our room was near the garbage area and parking lot, and being on a lower floor meant the view was mostly rocks and plants—not really a garden view.
The other guests were quiet and polite, making for a peaceful stay.
We had little interaction with guest services. We did call the front desk to change our Degenija reservation from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. When we arrived, the restaurant still had us booked for 8:00 PM, but they accommodated us without issue. The receptionist seemed rather nonchalant about the mix-up.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the amenities, room, private jacuzzi, peaceful atmosphere, and convenient location. The main downside was the room's view."
