"Be very careful if booking this property especially through Expedia. While booking a series of properties for a tour of the western cape I failed to notice that the calendar on the third booking, Rietfontein, had reverted to the current date this year instead of the date we reqd for next year. This was realised as soon as the confirmation came thru and Expedia were contacted immediately. Unfortunately neither Expedia or the Hotel were prepared to change the booking to the dates reqd. "The lady of the house was very accommodating, the room was very clean, great bed and bed sheets, blankets and pillows. The breakfast was very good. The thing which really threw me off was that the room was advertised as "Partially open bathroom, free toiletries, and a shower" - it turned out this means that the toilet is in the same room where the bed is, there is no walls around it, or anything like that.
